Food has been my whole world for as long as I can remember. There was never really a question about what I'd do with my life—if it wasn't about cooking, it wasn't happening.
My culinary journey took me to two incredible places that shaped how I cook today. First, Le Cordon Bleu in Ottawa, where I learned the foundations - classic technique, precision, and the kind of discipline that makes you a better cook. Then I headed to the Culinary Institute of Barcelona for pastry, which completely flipped the script. Spain taught me to play, to experiment, and to break rules I'd just learned. Those two schools couldn't have been more different, but together they gave me something special … a solid foundation in classics with the freedom to be creative.
I'm a bit of a food-obsessed traveler (okay, a lot obsessed). I've been lucky enough to explore many different countries, and honestly, the food culture is always what I'm there for. Markets, street vendors, family-run restaurants - that's where I’m at my happiest. Every trip adds something new to how I think about cooking.
While I love cooking just about anything, my specialties are Italian, French, Asian, and vegetarian cuisine - and I’m equally happy crafting private dinners as I am baking something delicious for you to enjoy. After spending a year abroad, I'm back home in Richmond for a bit before heading to Europe again next spring. While I'm here, I want to do what I love most - cook for others!
Whether you need a private chef for a dinner party, want your fridge stocked with ready-to-eat meals, or are craving something freshly baked, I'd love to help. Let's make something delicious together.
