Hi, I'm Julia!
Food is my passion, and I love to create—whether it's experimenting in the kitchen or perfecting a dish, food is always my happy place. I'm from Ottawa, Canada, where I recently completed my Culinary Diploma at Le Cordon Bleu. Currently, I'm living in Spain while completing my Pastry Diploma at the Culinary Institute of Barcelona. My two culinary school choices couldn't be more different, and that's what I love about them. Together, they've instilled a strong work ethic and discipline in the kitchen while also teaching me how to think outside the box, work well with others, and use my creativity in ways I never imagined possible. Although I like cooking all types of food, my specialities are French, Italian, and Asian cuisines. Although I'm no longer a vegetarian, I was for years and so I can also whip up some amazing plant-based dishes.
I love to travel, meet new people, and experience different cultures; I'm bilingual as well so we can chat in French if you prefer (with my Spanish improving daily as well). I'd love to hear from you, so please reach out so we can connect!
